To commemorate one year of the Talent Match Scheme, Sheffield Futures hosted a glamorous Celebration Event in December to honor some of the years great successes with some of our young people involved!
The Talent Match Scheme is aimed at young jobseekers in the Sheffield Region, offering hope to young people who are furthest away from the job market and aims to support them into employment.
Youth charity Sheffield Futures is the lead organisation for the programme. The Big Lottery Fund, the largest distributor of good causes money from the National Lottery, launched the nationwide Talent Match scheme just over a year ago.
The evening kicked off with Lorna Marsh being nominated for the ‘Contribution to Strategic Management’ award!
Adam Wragg and Rosemarie Bishop were both nominated for the ‘Most Outstanding’ award with Rosemarie going on to be the winner!
Adam Wragg was again nominated, this time for ‘Gone The Extra Mile’, for which he received the Special Recognition award!
Finally, Rebecca White and Chris Zanelli were both nominated for ‘Most Inspirational’, with Rebecca going on to win the main award!
With over 300 young adults on the programme and the region being one of the highest performing in the country, it goes to show just how well our young people have done in just being nominated.
Here’s to 2015 being another great year for the young people enrolled on the Talent Match Scheme!
